This book was written by a Chinese reporter that had a radio program in Nanquin called “Words on the night breeze”. She’s book only was published when she left China and went to London, where she lives until now and teach in a London University.
In the book, she tells many stories about women that she had been interviewed during her career. This book is important because tell the woman condition during the China Cultural Revolution and herself life. When she was child, the Red Guard came to her house, burned all in there, arrested her parents and carry off she and her brother for to live in an orphanage.
This book sounds very interesting, I would love to read it. There seems to be a historical as well as a romantic appeal.
ReplyDeleteI made some notes on your text, have a look :)

This book sounds me very interesting because is one way to think about how democratic coutries can learn with totalitarisms, how that praticed in China.
